Barcode scanning component now live in pro-Forms™

A common request from our user base was for a barcode scanning component to be added to the already comprehensive list of field types that could be added to a forms and we are pleased to announce that this new component is now live and ready to use on our BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Android deployments.

Covering all major/ common barcode types such as EAN, ISBN and QR codes this new component can be used inconjunction with the existing powerful pro-Forms™ 'lookup feature to instantly return to the form being completed the data associated with the scanned barcode.

We believe this new component will prove extremely useful for customers operating in the asset management, proof of delivery and proof of attendance sectors.
