How to Upload a new Lookup File

Lookup files allow you to prepopulate fields on your forms. The data in the lookup file can come form external systems or spreadsheets.  If the list of options needs to change — for example an updated site or equipment list — you can update the underlying lookup file without rebuilding the form.

To update the contents of a lookup file

  1. expand the Forms menu on the left
  2. click ‘Lookup Sources’.
  3. click edit next to the relevant entry.
  4. Click ‘Download File’
  5. Edit the document in Excel
  6. Upload the document again using the ‘Replace File’ Option
