BRFC Women’s team for both the ’26-27 and ’27-28 seasons.
pro-Forms® is proud to sponsor Bournville RFC Women, one of the leading names in women’s rugby in Birmingham. As a local business, we believe in backing the clubs and volunteers who keep grassroots sport alive in our city.
With two senior women’s teams, the Golds and the Maroons, Bournville RFC is one of very few amateur clubs in the West Midlands to field two women’s sides. The club is leading the way for women’s rugby in Birmingham, welcoming players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the teamwork, friendship and fitness the game offers.
With training twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Avery Fields and competitive league matches in NC 1 Midlands (West), the ladies, coaches, support staff plus friends and family have formed a close-knit community which is evident each time they get together – not least from the laughter and noise!

Why Grassroots Rugby Sponsorship Matters
Professional sport gets the headlines, but grassroots clubs are where sport actually happens for most people. They’re run by volunteers, funded largely by subs and fundraising, and kept going by the goodwill of players, coaches and families. For clubs such as Bournville RFC, local sponsorship isn’t a nice extra. It can be the difference between a team that struggles and a team that thrives – and we want in a small way to help see the teams thrive.
Having been involved with Bournville for over 30 years as player, coach and in various committee roles my passion for the club has lasted longer than my looks or hair!
Two of my children have also come through the Minis & Juniors section with my daughter now involved with the women’s senior team, so it was an easy decision to make to offer our support.
