pro-Forms® vs Service Geeni
Which Field Service Software Is Right for You?

Both pro-Forms® and Service Geeni are UK field service management platforms built around assets, not just job scheduling. If you’re comparing the two, here’s how they actually differ — on pricing, plan structure, and what’s included versus gated behind add-ons.

Pricing: pro-Forms® vs Service Geeni — published vs quote-only
This is the clearest difference between the two. pro-Forms® publishes its prices on the website.
WORK MANAGER for field service management is £30/user/month. There is the option to add ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGER for £500/year giving full field service and asset management in one fully functional solution with no tiered pricing. You can see the exact cost before you ever speak to sales.
Service Geeni doesn’t publish per-tier pricing. The Service Geeni pricing page states plans “start from £40 per engineer, per month,” but to get an actual quote for your team size and tier, you have to request pricing and go through a sales conversation. For a business trying to budget or compare options quickly, that’s an extra step pro-Forms® customers skip entirely.
Plan structure: one full plan vs three gated tiers
pro-Forms® offers two key Plans – WORK MANAGER and ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGER.
With WORK MANAGER every user gets the complete feature set — job planning, scheduling and dispatch, customer and site management, multi-team management, advanced reporting, and API access to 8,000+ integrations. There’s no feature matrix to work through to find out what’s missing at your price point.
ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGER has a Base Plan which can be added to WORK MANAGER giving one unlimited platform with full access to all features.
Service Geeni structures its offering across three tiers. A number of features that sit in the “core” list — full asset management with linked records, service contracts & PPM, the customer web portal, stock control, and the hire module — are only available from Premium Plus upward, and several others (SSO, subcontractor portal, FGas compliance, the AI Scheduling Agent) are either Enterprise-only or an “Optional Add On” you pay for separately. That’s a reasonable approach for a vendor serving a wide range of business sizes, but it does mean the advertised entry price isn’t the price for the full asset-management experience.
AI features: included vs add-on
Both platforms are investing in AI. pro-Forms® includes AI-powered camera recognition for asset identification (reading nameplates and pulling structured data straight into the asset form) and AI-powered form translation as standard parts of the relevant plans — no separate charge.
Service Geeni’s AI Scheduling Agent (route optimisation) is listed as an optional add-on on the Premium Plus tier and only included by default on Enterprise. Several of its other announced AI tools — AI Job Estimation, AI Stock Forecasting, AI Predictive Maintenance — are marked “Coming soon” rather than live features today.
Where Service Geeni might be the better fit
To be fair to Service Geeni, it’s a strong platform and the right choice for some businesses:
- Very large, multi-site, asset-heavy operations. Service Geeni’s customer base includes major UK enterprises and its Enterprise tier is built for that scale — consolidated invoicing, subcontractor portals, and multi-company management.
- Deep ERP integration needs. If you need native integration with SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Navision, Syspro, Epicor, or Infor, Service Geeni lists these as available integrations. pro-Forms® connects via Xero, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, Salesforce and 8,000+ apps through Zapier, but doesn’t advertise the same native ERP connectors.
- Formal hire management. Service Geeni’s hire module covers hire contract management, renewals, pre-hire and off-hire processes in detail — useful if equipment hire is a core part of your revenue, not just a side function.
- Dedicated industry pages. Service Geeni has built out specific solution pages for aviation & ground support equipment, medical devices, and industrial & manufacturing — worth a look if your sector needs that level of specificity.
pro-Forms® vs Service Geeni: the bottom line
If you want to know exactly what you’ll pay before you talk to anyone, and you’d rather have one plan with everything included than work out which tier unlocks which feature, pro-Forms® is built around that transparency. If you’re a large, multi-site enterprise with existing SAP or Dynamics infrastructure and complex hire operations, Service Geeni’s tiered, ERP-integrated approach may suit you better.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is pro-Forms® cheaper than Service Geeni?
pro-Forms® publishes fixed pricing from £30/user/month for full field service management and £500/ annual for ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGER Base Plan. Service Geeni doesn’t publish tier pricing beyond a “from £40/engineer/month” starting figure, so a direct comparison depends on which Service Geeni tier and add-ons your business would need — worth requesting a quote to compare properly. - Does pro-Forms® lock you into a contract?
No — pro-Forms® runs on a 30-day rolling licence with no lock-in period. Service Geeni doesn’t publish its contract terms; check with their sales team. - Are AI features included in the price with both platforms?
With pro-Forms®, AI camera asset recognition and AI form translation are included in the relevant plan at no extra cost. With Service Geeni, the AI Scheduling Agent is an add-on on the Premium Plus tier and only included by default on Enterprise.
